Can I use my own words and sentences?
Yes. Add your own names, words or short sentences. Activities support up to 20 lines and 48 characters per line. The app supports English A–Z and selected punctuation; accented names, numbers and other scripts are not currently supported.
Can I prepare name practice for a class?
Yes. Quick Practice includes a names option where you can paste one name per line, with support for up to 200 learners. Review the preview and choose your handwriting settings before preparing the sheets.
What is the difference between tracing, copying and independent practice?
Tracing provides a model to follow on the writing line. Copying gives a model to look at while writing. Independent practice leaves space for the learner’s own attempt. You choose the support appropriate to the activity.
Can I change the writing lines?
Yes. You can adjust line size and line style when preparing an activity. Check the print preview to make sure the spacing gives your learner enough room.
Can I save activities and organise them?
Yes. Sign in to save activities in your workspace, organise them into folders and favourite activities you want to revisit. Quick Practice also keeps your current draft in its browser tab while you work.
Does the app choose words or mark a child’s handwriting for me?
No. You choose the content and level of support. Handwriting Boost provides letter models and printable activities; it does not use AI to generate writing or automatically assess handwriting.
